Introduction to off-road riding

If you are proficient on the road, but new to off-road motorcycling and wish to improve your confidence and skill, this course is for you.

This course is aimed at adventure (dual sport) bikes as well as off-road, enduro bikes. For those who intend to do the Weekend, intermediate off-road riding course, Advanced off-road riding course, or the dirt bike fundamentals course, it is the perfect stepping stone.

What you will learn

  • Basic theory of how to ride a motorbike
  • How to balance the bike when riding
  • Motorcycle throttle and clutch control
  • The correct body position on the bike
  • Basic off-road riding skills, tips and techniques
  • Emergency braking on gravel roads
